i used to be a not-so-punctual person, but there’s something about adulthood and people paying you good money to be in a certain place at a certain time that really makes you get your shit together.
now, i hate being late. especially late to work. and especially when i’m carpooling with a coworker who consistently runs 20-60 minutes behind schedule.

it should go like this: show up 10 minutes early for your bus. wait 20 minutes. get on the bus, avoid having someone’s armpit in your face for the duration of the ride. fail at not having someone’s armpit in your face for the duration of the ride.
bad times when that’s the best case scenario. i can’t wait to get the hell out of here.
